Weekly Wardrobe, a typical week of not - so typical outfits…

12 February 2024

Monday  - WFH day - comfies all day long. Karl Lagerfeld once said “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants.” so it pains me to pull on my grey, boring, looks-like -I-am-going-to-prison outfit, but it was cold and dark and quite frankly I CBA’d.

Tuesday - chequered skirt, long boots and back top. Imagine Cher from Clueless, that was my inspiration. I was somewhere between 60’s swing and 90’s prep. My monochrome ensemble was cute and girly and perfect for a Tuesday that felt like a Monday at work.

Wednesday - M&S dress - You know the one that sold out, and you couldn’t but in the shops? Yes, you know, the empire line one, beige with black print? That one. The go to dress when I don’t have the time or the inclination to put something together.

Thursday - black dress with belt from new look. swing style. Paired with pixie boots this was too cute. I felt super cute, even if it does mean I have wore a LOT of black this week.

Friday - Kick ass silver chain mail jumper , statement neckalce, oversized blazer and flares. My, I’m here to stay outfit which I wore to my probation. I felt like Moira Rose.

Saturday - Metallic silver trousers, tight black crew neck and bib jewellery. Another Moira inspired outfit worn to go shopping. got stopped in Marks & Sparks and was told I looked like I was going out.

Sunday - Flared jeans and black top and a tassle cowboy jacket in diesel. Worn to have a walk about in London I felt like I fitted right in.
